Laminating pouches lamination is a widely used processing method for document protection, certificate packaging, and graphic output. It effectively improves paper's water, stain, and scratch resistance, while also enhancing its appearance and extending its lifespan.

However, in our long-term collaboration with buyers, we've discovered that many clients encounter certain issues or challenges when using lamination film.

1. Dependence on Heat Sealing Equipment

Lamination film lamination is typically sealed using heat sealing equipment, which requires a certain temperature (usually between 100°C and 130°C). This means:

This product cannot be used without a heat sealer;

Some small, low-temperature equipment may not provide sufficient temperature, resulting in a weak seal or bubbling;

During batch packaging, uneven heating or unstable conveying can easily lead to increased defect rates.

2. Not suitable for encapsulating all surface materials

While lamination film is widely suitable for common materials such as paper, cardboard, and coated paper, it may be unsuitable for the following special materials:

Printed materials with wet ink coatings

Glossy photo papers with heavy coatings

Some papers with strong embossing or textures

Hot Laminating Pouches

3. The heat-sealing process may cause slight deformation of the document.

Under high temperature and pressure, documents will temporarily expand and contract due to heat:

The document may be slightly warped after encapsulation.

Thin papers, such as 50g and 60g printer paper, are more susceptible to curling.

Continuous encapsulation over time can cause heat accumulation during the heat-sealing process, which may also affect the flatness of the finished product.

4. The sealed document cannot be modified or copied.

Once the heat seal is completed, the document is permanently sealed and cannot be altered or disassembled.

Copyings made with some matte films may appear gray or dark.

Glossy films have a strong reflective effect under bright lighting and are not suitable for displaying images or materials that require high readability.
