We are a factory specializing in the production of lamination film with 32 years of experience. Today, we'd like to share some practical tips about lamination film, hoping it will be helpful to those who are currently using or planning to purchase lamination film.

1. How to Choose Lamination Film Thickness?

Common thicknesses include 80, 100, 125, and 250 mic.

For daily document and photo protection, 80-100 mic is sufficient.

For frequently used documents such as ID cards, menus, and textbooks, 125 mic or higher is recommended for greater wear and fold resistance.

2. Laminating Temperature and Results

Lamination film requires the appropriate temperature to achieve a transparent and smooth finish.

Too low a temperature can lead to fogging or loose sealing.

Too high a temperature can easily cause bubbles or warping.

3. How to Avoid Bubbles?

Many people have experienced bubbles after laminating. There are two common causes:

Uneven adhesive layer on the laminating film itself.

The laminator's temperature and speed are not adjusted correctly.

We recommend testing the temperature and speed on a piece of scrap paper before laminating. Once you've found the correct settings, use it in large quantities.

4. Storage and Preservation Tips

Lamination film is sensitive to moisture and heat. It's best to store it in a dry, cool environment, flat, and avoid curling or pressure.
