Lamination film roll is widely used in the fields of document protection and photo preservation. Proper use can not only improve the lamination effect, but also extend the storage time of items. This article will introduce the steps and precautions of lamination film roll in detail.

1. Choose a suitable lamination film roll

Thickness: Common thicknesses are 80μm, 125μm, 250μm, etc.

Width: Choose according to the size of the item to be laminated, and ensure that the width is sufficient to cover the item.

Material: Common ones are PP (polypropylene) and PET (polyester), PP is more common, and PET is more resistant to high temperatures.

2. Prepare tools

Laminator

Scissors or cutting knife

Clean soft cloth

3. Lamination steps

Step 1: Preheat the laminator

If it is a hot laminator, it needs to be preheated to the appropriate temperature in advance (usually 120-160°C, refer to the manual for details).

Step 2: Cut the lamination film

Cut the lamination film according to the size of the item, leaving at least 5mm margin to ensure complete wrapping.

Step 3: Place the items

Place the items to be laminated in the middle of the lamination film, avoiding skewing or getting close to the edge.

Step 4: Feed into the laminator

Feed the lamination film and the items into the laminator slowly and steadily to avoid jamming or wrinkling.

Step 5: Check the lamination effect

After taking it out, check whether the edges are completely sealed. If there are bubbles or it is not sealed tightly, you can re-run the laminator.
